FAMOUS BLOGGER SHARING

I attended a talk by a famous blogger yesterday. He shared his experience on how he made $6K in seven days (see the advertisement in my paper).

His talk was very inspiring. He targeted to be millionaire by 2009. He explained the trick in blogging was to attract traffic. He told us how to buy traffic, steal traffic and attract traffic. He also explained blog vs website etc.

In conclusion, those who were interested can sign up a three days workshop with him. He will gave special discount to those who signed up on the spot. The course fee is $3000 minus thirty cents.

Any taker?

Excuse me of being skeptical. There are many inspiring speakers both oversea and local in the market, teaching people how to get rich, and that include countless books touching on this subject. If we were to think logically, we can argue this way: since there are many intelligent and educated people attending such inspiring talks, reading such stimulating books, by right there should numerous millionaires or even billionares lining our streets, true or not? The answer is, sad to say, no. Talks and books expound on certain get-rich principles. Even if people were to practise these principles, are they guarantee of positive results? There is nothing wrong to attend such talks or read similar type of books but do not expect too much. One thing is certain if speaker of such topic can inspire the audience he is definitely on the way to be a millionaire, then what about the audience? They are certainly going to be poorer by $3000/- each. Think logically and judge whether I am pouring cold water or not.

Further to my earlier comment, I wish to add that even in the US, the capital of all the capitalist countries, with prenty of super rich people, guess what is the percentage of this group of rich people in term of the overall population? - about 1%. Assuming that Singapore is quite similar to the US, then also about 1%. Of course our 99% of the population can aspire to get into this exclusive class, honestly speaking some may. There is no harm in trying, so long as we do not indulge ourselves in day-dreaming under a huge tree in Botanic garden.
