I always on the look out for seminar or talk to attend. I believe there were things that I can learn from the speakers. For example, the slide show before the seminar, the music used, the opening introduction and of course how convincing the speakers were.
Last month, I attended a wealth seminar called Accurate Market Prediction. The speaker was very good in his presentation. He was bilingual. He told the participants that he was very successful in his life and his business. He had invested a bungalow at Sentosa. The property now worth more than ten millions dollars. He also shown us a black titanium credit card. He told us that only 500 Singaporean own the card. H e is one of them. He also said that all participants must learn from him. He will teach us how to make money. He kept repeating his successful stories and those participants who made money from his advice.
In my mind, if he was so successful, why should he be spending so much money in advertisement, jumping up and down from the stage, spending the whole night trying to convince us to sign up for his programmes.
This week, I saw the same wealth seminar advertised on the papers. The organizer has improved the seminar by renamed it “12 months’ salary + 12 months’ bonus”. In addition, the advertisement was in full color!
It was in line with my Kaizen spirit. Well done the wealth seminar organizer! However, I still not convince to attend his programmes.
