I visited a telephone shop last week. I saw the comment sign to gauge customer feeling whether the service provided was good or room for improvement ( see pictures).
It was a good idea to get customer feedback. My concern is is there anyone monitor the comments ? How does the company know what area need improvement? Is the sign just to show that the company is customer focus?

Shops that want customer's feedback are actually moving towards the right direction. Only with such feedback can they improve on their services and products. Recently I went to a new coffeeshop in my neighbourhood and I noticed a dessert stall having poor business. Wanting to give some support to this stall, I ordered a bowl of sweet potato and found that the soup was overly sweet. I requested the stall owner to add a little more water. I tried to give a feedback to her, saying that nowadays people do not want to take too sweet in their food. She replied: "Oh, cannot be helped, the sweet potato must be coated with sugar syrup to prevent them from breaking up" She appeared quite upset over my negative feedback. Obviously she didn't observe how other stall prepare their sweet potato dessert which are normally boiled first, scooped up and place aside unsweetened. When customer places an order, the stall operator would then put a few pieces of the unsweetened potato into a bowl and fill it up with soup. With a correct proportion, the sweet potato dessert would not be overly sweet. How can a stall holder be successful if she does not act on feedback and getting angry when customer tries to advise them.
