In 2006 Aug, I saw the idea of keeping cool in Straits Times newspaper (see newspaper cutting).
I am quite sure there is a market for the product in Singapore. There were a lot of people preferred cool weather. It will meet their needs.
The problem now is the implementation of the idea and market it.
I have not seen the products on the market.

The idea is very creative. In fact our present MM Lee remarked years back that it would be a great idea to have an apparel that keeps a person cool. He doesn't like hot weather and obviously ahead of his time thinking of such an idea. For man in the street buying such a product may have many considerations to make like the price, its usefulness, maintenance, harmful effect and so orth. I notice one thing, though the upper portion of the body may be kept cool, the head and waist downwards could still expose to the hot sun. So the coolness is not overall. For Singaporeans living in a hot climate is our second nature having been brought up and bred here. In fact we may find other climatic conditions alien to us. For me, I prefer to be natural and if I need to cool down, I would just proceed to a place where it is airconditioned, better still be able to go for holidays in a cooler country to absorb the sight and sound of that place.
