I wrote about the mother's gift on 15 May 2008. The gift was two concert tickets to watch Ms Lin SJ and Li MS performance on 7 June 2008. Straits Times has reported the event on 2 June and 9 June (See newspaper cutting).It was a wonderful experience. They were 6,500 audience. As I mentioned, the tickets did not come cheap. Thanks to my three lovely children.
I have the following comments/suggestions to make :
- The organiser should indicate the hall number rather than stating Max Pavilion as not everyone is familiar with Singapore Expo
- To consider selling the CDs as I believe there were be big demand.
We were caught in the traffic jam. However, after watching the concert, we did not have any regret for attending.

Not too long ago I also attended a live show featuring the famous singer
chui Peng at the explanade. Though she is advance in age (68)but still her singing prowess of yester-years remained intact. Now she retires in Shanghai but her hobby of beijin opera singing kept her going and maintaining the quality of her singing. We are also getting older, attending such nostalgic shows brings back good memory of those passing years. So Peh continue to indulge in this kind of past-time, at the same time thankful to your children for being filial.
