I attended a few seminars at Indonesia recently. I have observed the following points for future improvements:
- No introduction and closing for the seminar
- No briefing on seminar administration details
- The dress code for the trainers can be further improved
- Understand their connection sockets where they can cause serious problems in the power supply (see photos).
For a seminar to be carried successfully, we need to pay attention to all details.

I really do not understand what this queer seminar is all about. When participants have to go all the way to Indonesia it suggests something big or international. Then the way it is organized appears very slipshod and unprofessional? Then on what criteria the participants should have for attending this seminar? If participants have to pay a neat sum of money to attend it, is it really worthwhile? To me it seems that this so-called seminar appears to be some kind of money making venture more than anything else, but I may be wrong for being so presumptuous. Perhaps Pehsk can throw more light on this 'gathering' of international professionals.
Dear Zen,
Thanks for the comments. The seminars were organised by a local book sellers. They were not the professional training organisation.

Pehsk - This really beats me, local book sellers going all the way to Indonesia to promote their wares. Is it cost effective? Perhaps they feel that many Indonesians would eventually buy their books or maybe the promoters feel that the venue was a cheaper choice compared to Singapore. Whatever it is, the whole idea doesn't make sense to me.
