When I was at Indonesia last week, I saw some tables were quite unique. One of the table use the cow boy below as a support (See top photo). If you look at it from far, it looked like some one was laying there.
The other table is so low that you do not require chairs. You save the trouble of getting chairs. However, sitting on the floor was quite uncomfortable for me.
I believe most Singaporean will prefer sitting on the proper tables and chairs. Such idea may not be welcomed here.

Pehsk - You did not mention whether the photo taken is in an office area or at some other venue. I comment is this: the table with a cowboy-like support, though cute, but could frighten children or for people looking at it at night, therefore not in good taste. As for the low table, it is something also associated to Korean and Japanese homes, where sitting or kneeing down to dine is customary. I personally find eating on low table is quite unique and refreshing, though a bit uncomfortable.
