THREE- DAY LEARNING CAMP AT INDONESIA 印尼泗水三天培训营 TIGA HARI BERKHEMAH

I was invited by an international school to attend their three days training camp at Surabaya, Indonesia recently. It was really a good learning and sharing experience. I get to learn the Indonesia culture, the Indonesia Chinese life style.

The photos above show the venue of the training, the best performance team and the group photo.

The camp was held at a hill top. The weather was very pleasant.
As I am the practitioner in continues improvement, I have two ideas for improvement:

1 To provide a folders for all participants.
2 To post the photos at the school website

It is hope that each time we do something, we must do it better the next time. I will submit a report to their management.

Personally I feel the cultural exchange, sight-seeing and the interaction with the people are great. However, I could not grasp the goals of this international school - what is their mission? In education, what can the school provdie, or its ability to contribute to society? Are their courses up to University level and being recognised particularly in this region? Unless strict educational requirements are being met, it cannot compete internationally in the field of education.

Dear Zen,
Thanks for your comments.
The school is in the process of finalsing the mission and vision. They only provide pre-school, primary and secondary education.
Regards
pehsk

My goodness, the school has been built, classes conducted, friends from oversea (like Pehsk) have been invited, yet no mission and vision? not even a school motto? It is something like I set up for a journey, already traveled half way, but do not know where is my destination. I really do not think the school has no mission or vision, otherwise they could not have set up the school in the first place. Perhaps you did not ask them about it.
