I read from newspaper that public buses designed for handicap. I did not understand how the bus look like until I boarded one last week (See pictures).
The design was very practical. It was stated on the bus that the diver will assist the handicap. The only worry was that the handicap should avoid peak period, other wise the journey will be very unpleasant.
Any way, it was a big improvement for the bus services.

The buses that pass my estate are mostly of this type. The buses have been running for quite some time but I have not witness a single occasion whereby a handicap personal making use of this service. Despite the readiness to serve by willing drivers, I do not think handicaps like to use such public transport- too much of a chore. Handicaps are probably in favour of using the personalised service offered by charitable organisations which use vans, manned by volunteers, to move around.
