REPLY FROM THE AUTHOR

Yesterday, I wrote to the author of The Idea Book regarding my suggestions for improvement. Within five hours, he replied my mail. I was happy that the author was considering my suggestions. He was planning to publish an idea book with only cartoons and pictures illustrations.

I look forward to reading his book.

Below is his mail:

Thanks for your email.
Interesting blog!

About your suggestions. (I love the whole idea of continuous improvements)

To reduce the number of empty space as there were too many

- the idea book is not a book. It is a combined book and notebook - so the purpose is to use it to write down all your great ideas - and hopefully you can never have too many pages for ideas to be written down on :)

To use cartoon or picture to illustration ideas/concept

- i am actually planning to have a special version of the idea book that is ONLY full of cartoons, pictures illustrations etc. (idea book 10)(there will also be an other idea book only full of notes from readers) The reasons there are no cartoons illustrations etc in idea book in is that i wanted the first book to look a bit serious and be all about the text.

To enlarge the font size at those empty pages.

- funny. YESTERDAY (!) we decided to improve the font size on the empty pages for the next book that we are publishing in Sweden in 4 weeks (idea book about service")(and we will change it in the next version of the idea book to when we print it. So here i totally agree.

Would be interesting to know what you thought about the actual content of the book as well. (would appreciate it from someone like you

Thanks for writing.

Ps. I saw that you also wrote on your blog that you had "written me but Not gotten a response".

Ps. Since you wrote it 4 am Swedish time and it has now passed less than 5 hours since you wrote the email - i really hope that you do not mean that this is a slow responds ;-)
