I saw this interesting socks in Taiwan. It shown a picture of villain being punished (step).

In Chinese custom, there was this culture of punishing the villain. It called 打小人,

The business man was good in using the psychology effect to sell their products.

Similar types of practice are quite common in other cultures also. For example, the former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein who hated President Bush Snr so much that he instructed a famous hotel owner (in Bagdad) to lay a carpet, with Snr Bush portrait painted on it, and lay it at the main hotel entrance, so that people coming in can step on the portrait, in order to humiliate Snr Bush indirectly. Public burning and hanging of enemy effigies, or burning and mutilating the enemies national flags are part of such hate rituals practised in many countries. All these acts are retaliations against the enemies without directly confronting them.
