BLOGGING AND HEALTH

My paper reported on 18 Feb 2009 that Blogging cam enhance a person health condition ( see newspaper cutting)

According to the report, blogging can reduce a person psychological pressure and increase memory.

Blogging is just like listening to music, jogging and appreciating of arts. It can stimulate dopamine cell in our brain. It is better than writing daily because there are readers to provide feedback and comments. So it is a good thing to do.

I agree with this observation. Firstly, it is an accepted medical theory of the concept of mind and body integration, meaning mental and physical are interconnected, governing the overall health condition of a person. As blogging can be considered a thinking exercise involving the brain and the components of the eyes and ears. So when the brain is active it is would be beneficial to the well being of the body as well. Likewise, we should also be physically active to enhance our mental health.

Think and write are not merely a mental exercise, it enables the brain to recollect past events, analysing them, reflecting them or rationalising ones past action. When coming to the writing part, we need to choose correct words, see that they are grammatically correct, sentence construction is in order before to presenting them to the viewers. In short the whole process is a good mental exercise for the brain.
