S$32 Thousands Champagne

The Zao Bao Newspaper reported on 30 Mar 2009 that the world most expensive champagne was auctioned at Hong Kong at S$32 thousands ( see newspaper cutting).

The wine was produced in 1928 at French. I wonder who will drink the wine at that high price.

Ordinary man in the street cannot afford to buy this bottle of champagne, except rich collectors of wines. The one who possesses this bottle of champagne is most likely to show it off to his like-minded friends and since it can last a long time, the owner of this bottle of champagne is likely to treat it as an antique collection.
