There was a camera man going around taking group photo. Within a short period of time, the photos were ready. Each member received the photo in name card size. It was free of charge. The revere side of the photo stated the company details (See pictures).
The photos were also presented as a slide show on the big screen for all to view.
I am sure no one will throw away the photo. It was a wonderful marketing idea.

A top govt minister said we must be one step ahead of our competitors and my former boss also mentioned this principle. In other words people must put on their thinking caps in order to be creative as well as innovative. This latest style of marketing clearly shows how competitive the world has become. I keep on wondering whether the instant photos taken are of the same to polaroid. Polaroid camera was invented by an American engineer when he happened to take his little daughter on an outdoor sightseeing. He took a photo of his daughter with the usual conventional camera and his curious daughter questioned him: "daddy why can't you show me the photo?" The question apparently stumped the engineer and prompted him to invent a camera that can produce an instant photo - cheers Polariod was borned. This story reflects the importance of asking question that would stir up deep thoughts leading to a breakthrough.
