THINK BEFORE YOU ACT 三思而后行

I read the news from China Press, a Malaysia Chinese newspaper that A member of parliament spotted some unsafe objects. In order the remove the unsafe objects, The MP took actions by himself.

The result:

He was arrested by the police. So the lesson learnt was it was good to take initiative for the good of the public. In my opinion, it is better to think before you act. Just like the Malaysia MP. It is not worth to end up in such the situation.

I am not sure whether there is any other motive in doing that act.

The MP must have removed some public property though it may be unsafe. The police deems him to be somekind of a vandal meddling with public property. He should have report the unsafe objects and told the proper authority to remove them. Sometime initiative doesn't pay. There is an English proverb: Look, before you leap which is clearly explains this incident.
