I read a news on mypaper some time ago regarding a bank is providing banking services at your door steps.
It was a good idea. The thing I am concern now is the follow-up of such issue. Are the service effective? What are the customer feedback? The newspaper should have a report on this.

I think intention of setting such banking service is good but is it useful? I have my doubts due to the following reasons: Firstly-it is difficult to coordinate the users to the services. Secondly-DBS (the proposed service provider) has many ATMs all over Singapore enabling users to transact their banking needs 24 hrs throughout the day. Thirdly - with the currently high fuel cost, rendering such services is not cost effective, wastage of manpower and time. Forthly - it adds for vehicles on the roads with little added value. Hence I am not in favour of such services.
