This is street culture of the 21st century. There are many young people who like to make personal statement whether in support or against the establishment. In our time only people with sinister character (like gangsters) or sailors like to have tattoo but not now where many decent youngsters, including girls, are spotted with tattoos. Maybe it is today trend which may replace with something else in the future.
Pehsk - You have to be specific of what make you unhappy. If it concerns your personal life, you can only solve it yourself. Other than that, there are many avenues for you to channel your unhappiness e.g. public matters you can forward them to feedback unit, or to make comments through the newspapers provided they agree to print them. Since you have a blog, why not publish your views through this media by keeping things simple. As what Chun See said before you can write whatever topics you like in your blog though originally it is meant to to promote the concept of kaizan.
