I read yesterday Zao Bao that ST Kinetics, a government linked company has started a five- year tree planting exercise.According to the news, the 2,500 employees will plant 500 trees each year. The trees will carry the name of the employees who planted it. Each year, there will be award presented to the best department for tree planting.
It was a good idea to promote save the planet exercise. I just hope five years later, there will be a small forest in ST Kinetics.

Well the company certainly has a long term plan to promote an environmental friendly scheme of tree planting which benefit everyone. This is possible because the company has the budget, manpower and land area for such an exercise. Smaller companies could not follow the good example of ST Kinetics, even if they like to, because they may not have the resources of big companies.
