I saw A souvenir given away by a company called : "Together We create Value" . It comes with a note pad and a pencil. The name of the company was big enough for people to see ( see photos).
It was a very good idea for company to give way such gift for promoting improvement initiative.

Such advertising tactic for is very common, working on the precept that people like to have things free without having obligation to buy the company's products. In so doing the company does not spend hefty sum of money to advertise their goods in newspapers and yet able to draw the public attention to its products, venue of their shop, website, address, and telephone no., making purchases easy for potential customers.
