Thank you for your suggestion and feedback which we received on 13 December 2007.You will be delighted to know that we have recently installed an electronic queue-matic system at Singapore Airlines' check-in row 7 at Terminal 2. There will now be a queue-matic LCD display panel between counter 7 and 8 to inform passengers which are the available counters at row 8 for them to proceed to do their check-in. We are currently monitoring the situation and gathering comments from check-in staff and passengers alike on its effectiveness to reduce waiting times for all queuing passengers. Should the feedback gathered be positive, we will consider installing similar queue-matic systems to other Singapore Airlines' check-in rows.
For your comment on the size of the internet check- in counter sign; we are working with Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS), the ground handling agent for Singapore Airlines at Terminal 2, to assess if the signs can be made larger for passengers' benefit and awareness.
