ANUG TALK

I blogged about the talk by the Association of Nanyang University Graduates (ANUG) on 7 Sep 2008.

Yesterday I attended the second talk. The speaker was Mr Tay Boon Suat, a very experience management consultant. He has helped many SMEs in their financial planning. The talk attracted more than 60 ex-graduates.

A token of appreciation was presented to him at the end of the presentation by the president of ANUG.

I have two suggestions for the improvement for such presentation :

1 To use the lower table for the laptop so that it will not block the view of the participants
2 To design a feedback form for the participant to capture their comments.
I wish to thank those ex-graduates who sponsored the buffet dinner and organised the event.

Pehsk - All along I told you that there are many talented ex-graduates in NU. It proves that they are eager to contribute their expertise for the benefit of fellow members. There is no need to pay external professionals to give talks to the association unless there are no members in the association specialised in the topic relating to the talks. You too can contribute your 5S experience to your fellow members.
Having a buffet dinner and token presents to the speakers is an ideal gesture of appreciation to the them. The association should have more such activities in the future to foster unity among its members. As for ideas of improvement, they should be forwarded to the association for consideration.
