I attended a talk by the School of Entrepreneurial Development ( SEED) on Tuesday evening. The title was Are Entrepreneurs Born or Taught
It was a interesting talk. The programme was well structured. The lecturers for the programme were present to talk to the participants and answer questions.
However, I felt there were two ways to make the talk better:
1 To insert photos for the presentation slides as picture speak louder than words
2 To arrange the sitting arrangement in U- shade as the group was not very big
I believe there was always a better way of doing thing, it was the spirit of Kaizen !

The topic is very controverial. Naturally borned entrepreneur has an innate business sense and capability, with or without a business education. Many so-called business educators and writers of many successful business books, inspite knowing all kind of business theories of how to be successful entreprenuers, may not dare to venture ouside their comfort zone and risk their necks in business venture, prefering to draw a fat salary from their respective institutions. Having said this, it does not mean that such business theories are not useful to the general public. In fact quite a few of these academic gurus do own successful businesses, but they are not from the mainstream.
I forgot to comment on your suggestions to improve the presentation of in the lecture in the future. Perhaps you should write to the organiser of your feedback. As for the seating arrangement, I have this feeling that the organiser is unable to gauge the number of people turning up for the lecture, hence leave the seating arrangement status quo, just in case there is a sizeable turnout.
